Jake's Bakes terms and conditions

Allergens

Jake's Bakes is NOT an allergen free kitchen.
We do not cater for severe allergies of any kind.
Nuts and other allergens are used in the Jake's Bakes kitchen, therefore we cannot guarantee our products do not contain traces or allergens.

Payments

Payment and delivery information is required on booking to secure all orders unless otherwise arranged. It is the customers responsibility to send over the required information
A non-refundable deposit will be required to secure all orders over £20.
The full balance will be due no later than 1 week before the agreed delivery/pick-up date unless agreed otherwise.
All bakes are handmade to order, therefore each quote will be unique and relate specifically to the individual customer.
Once products have been collected or delivered they become the customer's responsibility. Jake's Bakes will not be held accountable for any damage to the products once it has left our possession.
Quotes are subject to change if the customer makes any alterations to the order before and after confirmation.

Refunds/Cancellations

All deposits are non-refundable.
If the customer wishes to cancel their order a full refund (excluding the deposit) will be given up to 1 week before the agreed delivery/collection date. Any cancellation made after this time will not receive a refund (refunds may be given at Jake's Bakes discretion).
Once an order has been placed and agreed, Jake's Bakes is not required to make changes if mistakes have been made by the customer. If the customer wishes to cancel due to an ordering mistake they must follow the cancellation guidelines as outlined above.
If you need to change the date of delivery/collection after confirmation of an order, we will do our best to accommodate but it may not always be possible.
If for any reason Jake's Bakes has to cancel the order the customer will be entitled to a full refund (exluding the deposit).
Jake's Bakes cannot be held accountable for failure to deliver in extreme weather conditions including, but not limited to, snow and ice. If this situation does occur Jake's Bakes will inform the customer and agree an alternate delivery date or cancellation.

Delivery/Collection

All products are available to collect from Jake's Bakes headquarters free of charge.
Any order made requesting delivery will be subject to an additional delivery charge. The delivery charge will be based on location and agreed between Jake's Bakes and the customer.
We aim to deliver all of our orders between 11:30 and 2pm, unless otherwise agreed. If this changes, we will let you know. On the day of delivery, if there is no answer we will call the contact number provided on booking if we have one. If we are still unable to get hold of anyone collection will then be required for your order from IP3. We are unable to leave fresh food outside.

Photographs

Jake's Bakes reserves the right to use photographs or videos of all orders on any and all social media pages. We will ensure any posts are made public at least 48 hours after delivery/collection. If you would like to specifically request that we do not use pictures of your product the customer must let us know at the time of ordering

Products

All bakes and cakes are handmade to order and may vary slightly from images and past orders.
All sizing is approximate.
